Position Overview
WeatherFlow-Tempest is seeking a bright and motivated Customer Support Agent to join our team. As a Customer Support Agent, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through a seamless product experience. You will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, answering questions, providing technical assistance, and offering conscientious support.
Responsibilities
Customer Assistance & Technical Support: Respond to a wide array of customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat promptly and professionally. Provide troubleshooting tips and technical assistance to customers experiencing issues with hardware and software.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of WeatherFlow-Tempest products, applications and services to provide accurate information and effectively assist customers.
Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues, including technical problems, product-related questions, order and billing inquiries. Some meteorological and device data analysis may be required.
Documentation & Feedback: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions and solutions provided. Relay customer feedback, concerns, and suggestions to the appropriate teams to foster product development and improve customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Fulfillment, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of support processes and best practices to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Candidates with the following attributes will be strongly considered for this position:
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience with Zendesk, Slack, Shopify, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Hubspot, Excel/Google Sheets, and WeatherFlow-Tempest applications and products
- Knowledge of meteorology or experience with weather monitoring equipment
Part Time Position
Starting Hourly Rate: $15/hr
Expected Hours: 15-30hrs/week, morning & day shifts
Weekly Day Range: Monday through Saturday

Starting Hourly Rate: $17-18/hr
Expected Hours: 40hrs/week, 8hrs/day, morning & day shifts
Weekly Day Range: Monday through Friday, weekend flexibility is a plus
