September 2018 — Update from Vaavud founder Thomas Helms.
Vaavud Inc is now legally out of business. Don’t worry, WeatherFlow Inc has agreed to host the Vaavud app code, so your Vaavud meter should continue functioning with the Vaavud app based on compatibility with your phone operating system. Unfortunately, the Vaavud code does not facilitate support of Vaavud meters within the WeatherFlow apps as we hoped when I sent my June update (below.)
As you may know, existing Vaavud meters are not compatible with newer iPhone models and some Android phones. Fortunately, the new WeatherFlow meters do work with the latest iOS and Android devices. WeatherFlow has been around for a long time and they make great products, so you will be in really good hands with them. See http://weatherflow.com/wind-weather-meters/ . WeatherFlow is offering a 20% discount for Vaavud customers through the end of October, use coupon code at checkout: VAAVUDOCT2018
If you would like to be updated on any changes in support for Vaavud meters please enter your email above.

June 2018 . — A message from Vaavud founder Thomas Helms.
First of all, thank you so much for all of the encouraging comments. I’m humbled by and extremely grateful for the positive comments about the Vaavud products, the stories shared by fellow entrepreneurs, and the general show of support from people who recognized and appreciated the effort that went into trying to keep Vaavud afloat. Once again, Thank you!
I thought my previous email was going to be the last I sent to you, but in the meantime, I have met with the leadership team of WeatherFlow. They find it feasible to integrate support for the Vaavud wind meters into their app, which is obviously great news for anyone who owns a Vaavud wind meter. WeatherFlow has been around for a long time and they make great products, so you will be in really good hands with them.
