Steve Gregg joined the WeatherFlow forecast team in March of 2020. Steve grew up in Philadelphia, PA and is a life long sailor who currently lives in Atlanta, GA. He has sailed and raced one-design and keelboats up and down the East Coast with a particular affinity for the Chesapeake Bay.
Life has led him to stops in several cities since receiving his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University including Washington, D.C, Boston, and St. Petersburg, FL. After working for many years in the technology sector he took several years away from full-time work to raise a family but his love for all things weather fueled him to pursue an M.S. degree in Earth and Atmospheric Science from Georgia Tech.
Since graduating from Georgia Tech in 2014, he has provided weather consulting services while occasionally finding time to sail and race his Snipe on nearby Lake Allatoona. When he is not coming up with fun weather science experiments to do with his kids, he also enjoys suffering as a Philadelphia sports fan, skiing, running, and learning how to code.
